Who are you? Who Who?

leadership lessons

You used to be sick? Or you ARE a survivor?

You used to be a marathon runner? Or you KNOW the power of endurance?

You used to be an artist? Or you have the ABILITY to create something beautiful?

You used to be successful? Or you understand what it FEELS like to win?

You used to be a screw up? Or you UNDERSTAND the importance of mentors?

You are what you’ve learned. The power of those lessons are buried within you.

Never let them go.

Let your learning inform your leadership.

Karin, Great use of some of the words penned by Pete Townsend of “The Who” many years ago. Yes, our entire life we are faced with choices and one of the most important choices we often find ourselves making is the choice to be positive and move forward or be negative and move backward or stay in the status quo. Thanks for making it easier for us to “unbury” (if that’s a word!!) and reflect on those life lessons.

I’m just getting back to the place I was before where I could comfortably navigate the “quiet storms and peaceful chaos” that comes with life. The learning is the hardest part, that knowing means you can be your own leader regardless of others.
